I’m excited to be part of the Bloggers Filling Backpacks project! Andie from Crayon Freckles organized Bloggers Filling Backpacks, a collaboration of over 40 kid bloggers to help the Boys & Girls Clubs of America bring school supplies to children. Each blogger contributed to the Boredom Buster Backpack eBook with its 50+ kid-friendly projects.
This project is part of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America Tools for Back to School campaign, which says:
“Too many kids in America are falling behind in school and life before they even get started. Oftentimes, this is not due to alack of ability but to the lack of access to both basic tools, such as notebooks and pens, and to quality after-school programming that helps prepare kids for academic success and, inevitably, a great future.”
Our goal is to raise $500 for the Tools for Back to School campaign. Everyone who makes a $10 (or more) donation will get the Boredom-Buster Backpack: 50+ Activities to Keep Children Busy ebook!
Go to the Bloggers Filling Backpacks BGCA fundraising page and make your $10 donation to receive your copy of this fabulous ebook! You’ll receive 50+ fun activities to do with your child, AND you’ll help other children have the supplies they need to start school successfully!
You’ll find the Boys & Girls Clubs of America on Facebook, Twitter, and their website.
Thanks so much for helping children have the chance to be successful in school! 🙂
