Pumpkin activities are so much fun in October! Pumpkin drawing is an easy, fun activity for toddlers that can be repeated over and over again! I have a simple setup that works well with both young and older toddlers. My 18-month-old granddaughter, Arabella, loves it!

Materials Used:
- Pumpkin (whatever size you prefer)
- Washable Markers
- Container for Markers
- Placemat
This is a larger pumpkin than I would normally use for pumpkin activities with children. It worked out well, though, as Arabella spent days decorating it. Then she washed it and began again. (See the link to pumpkin scrubbing below.)
While it’s designed for toddlers, even her elementary-aged brother and cousins had fun adding to her decorations! If you want to have this activity for preschoolers on up, you could include the pumpkin scrubbing with the drawing.
