Scissor cutting skills are essential practical life skills for preschoolers. Today, I have a free practical life printable for you with both a cutting skills guide and 20 printable templates from KHT Montessori!
Free Cutting Skills Guide and 20 Templates from KHT Montessori
This is a free instant download, courtesy of KHT Montessori! These materials are part of the KHT practical life album. The printables include presentation suggestions and 20 printable cutting templates. (Note: The presentation and 20 templates are in a zip file that’s one easy download!) You can download the Cutting Skills Guide and templates here.
(Note: This is a zip file, so it downloads a bit differently from a regular PDF. A zip file should automatically download when you click on the link. You should see the file at the bottom of your screen. You might need to click that and say “show in folder” or something similar, depending on how your browser saves it.)

KHT Montessori (Updated Information)
Karen Tyler of KHT Montessori is AMS (American Montessori Society) certified and taught an online Montessori teacher training course for people who were unable to take formal Montessori training and Montessori teachers wanting to refresh their Montessori training. Karen has helped so many people through her KHT Montessori course! She retired in 2022. The freebies she generously gave to my readers are still available through my blog posts.
Her set of 12 teaching albums is still available to buy but only through Alison’s Montessori. You can buy the 12 Montessori albums from Karen Tyler (now listed under Alison’s Montessori Manuals) here.

I have heard great feedback on KHT course and materials, and would love to try them on my daughter. Since we can’t afford to send her to a Montessori school, these materials would be our best option.

I would love to win this course and the albums. Montessori is a perfect fit for our family but we don’t have a school in our remote area and my plan is to homeschool. The course and albums would really help with this. Thank you for the chance to win!

I would love to win! Our family homeschools and we would like to use the Montessori method in our home. We live too far away from AMI/AMS programs for my wife to get trained at, so getting to use an online program would be a Godsend! Our little one has some cognitive delays and most of our budget after bills goes to services to improve his skills. Winning would be a big help financially. Thank you for the opportunity!

Hello – First, thank you so much for offering this opportunity ! My husband was in the military for 25 years and our family was transferred 14 times. To help our 3 children with life as “water gypsies” we did our best to find Montessori schools for them to attend trying to support a thread of “normalcy ” in their ever changing lives as well as their life long love of learning we came to know those special schools could offer . We were able to do just that up through their elementary years. They are now all working with families themselves ( 2 teachers and 1 therapist ) If it were possible , I would love to be have the chance to be able to offer those things to other families… “paying” , both forward and back… for the gift of our three amazing, caring, funny, smart, well adjusted people and all they have to offer the world. Again, many thanks for this possible chance as well as for all your own fantastic hard work !

I would most like to study the math curriculum. I feel like I never had a strong grasp on math myself and am excited to help my children (and myself) understand it better through the Montessori approach.

winning for us will mean a lot. I am planning on homeschooling and I still don’t have a complete confidence doing that. I want to get the right knowledge about Montessori and I believe in KHT training as a great source.
