I needed some digital clock numbers for my post tomorrow, and I couldn’t find exactly what I wanted. So we put some together … and I’m sharing a free digital clock numbers printable with you today! It’s even an instant download!
Montessori-Inspired Printables at Living Montessori Now
My daughter, Christina (a former Montessori child), and I are partnering to bring you a series of Montessori-inspired printables. The printables are typically themed and use a number of Montessori principles (although you don’t need to be a Montessori teacher or homeschooler to use them).
These digital number cards follow the Montessori principle of isolation of quality. Only the numerals change … not the color or size, so it’s clear to the child what concept is being presented.
The digital clock numbers 0-12 can be used with sandpaper numerals, to match to each other or the Mr Printables digital numbers (which are a little more difficult to read and would be a fun next step), and to create telling time activities. I added extra 0’s and 3’s for the o’ clock and half hour times which are commonly used in teaching time. I’ll have more activities and resources in my Montessori Monday post tomorrow morning.
