Your Blog is Fabulous Award to Happily Pass On

January 27, 2011 By Deb Chitwood

I was excited and honored to receive a very cool award from Natasa at Leptir – the Your Blog is Fabulous Award! I’m going to love passing the award on to some fabulous blogs!

Thank you so much to Natasa at Leptir! What a great award – unique and fashionably fabulous!

This award has only one rule: I must specify three destinations to which I want to travel and say why.

I’ve been so lucky to travel to many places when I lived in England for a year and a half and because of my children’s figure skating competitions. Here are my three top destinations:

1. Italy. My husband and I fell in love with authentic Italian food when we were in Turin, Italy, last March to cheer our daughter and her ice-dance partner on at the World Figure Skating Championships. We’d love to return to Italy to visit Rome and Venice.

2. Scandinavia. My son and I did an amazing whirlwind tour of Finland, Sweden, Norway, and Denmark after he competed in the 2004 Junior Grand Prix Final in Helsinki. I’d love to take my whole family for a longer Scandinavian tour – this time in the summer.

3. San Diego, California, USA. My kids and kids-in-law all live in San Diego now. What better destination for my husband and me to visit?!!!

Now, to pass on the award – always my favorite part and the most difficult part for me. I love visiting blogs and discovering new ones. Because there aren’t any rules about who I must pass this award on to, I’m passing it on to 25 blogs. Some of them will be blogs I’ve followed for awhile and others are new discoveries for me.

To make my decisions a bit easier, I’m choosing blogs that are managed by one person and offer lots of educational activities and resources. I’m awarding the Your Blog is Fabulous Award to blogs I haven’t given an award to in the past (often they weren’t given an award because I somehow missed giving them an award before!).

To find links to fabulous blogs I have given awards to previously, please see the links on my Awards page.

Here are the blogs to which I’m happily passing on the Your Blog is Fabulous Award (as alphabetized by my computer):

Thanks for the award! You certainly deserved yours! Funny that you awarded it to . I to two “Maureen”s. Maybe it is a West Coast thing, but I never meet other “Maureen”s, yet in blogging, it seems like there are a ton of us.

Okay, that sentence was messed up! I meant “Funny that you awarded it to two “Maureen”s. My keyboard seems to be wigging out and inserting letters and cutting and pasting randomly! Hope I don’t have a virus.
