The color walk is a wonderful outdoor activity for preschoolers. More than one blog has focused on this activity. The photo from Maybe Montessori emphasizes the use of an egg carton.
Maybe Montessori recommends using paints to color each section of the egg carton. I also saw attractive variations of the activity from Jojoebi and The Artful Parent.
Have you ever gone on a color walk with your preschooler?

Oh my, I LOVE this idea. Our family loves to go on outdoor adventure hikes and this is such a great way to add a punch of fun to “just another walk” in the woods! I’m soooo excited to put this idea to work
