You don’t even need to be a techie to appreciate Montessori Compass. The interface is amazingly easy to use, and everything is autosaved so you can’t accidentally delete something important. Information is easy to edit with a minimum number of clicks needed to use everything. There are great templates with the site, although you can customize as well.
Montessori Compass isn’t just wonderful for teachers and schools … it’s also wonderful for Montessori parents! Montessori Compass helps you understand Montessori education through a directory of Montessori works and gives you a way to know what your child is doing at school. I love how easy to make all of the parents get the uptodate of their each child using Montessori Compass.
I would love to win an iPad for my special needs daughter, Lexi. She was born 14 weeks prematurely with no heartbeat. Doctors spent 7 minutes reviving her and hours stabilizing her. She is now 2 years old and has global developmental delay. She attends 5 weekly therapy sessions. At the clinic where she goes to speech therapy she plays on the iPad every week. She loves the Peek a boo barn app and has learned many words from the iPad apps. However, she is still at a 12 to 14 month level for speech and I think her skills could greatly improve with an iPad.
I would love to win because my laptop is on its death bed.

Montessori Compass – it would make recording of observations easier esp with digital device (iPad or any android system). rather than carrying a notebook and then later have to transfer to individual student records. Saves double work. a teacher’s time should not be filled with record keeping…
