Montessori Monday – Montessori-Inspired Chinese New Year Activities

Montessori-Inspired Chinese New Year ActivitiesThe Chinese New Year starts soon, and it’s a good time to prepare activities to celebrate. Montessori-inspired activities work well because you can prepare an activity tray to use for as many days or weeks as you wish.

Following are some Montessori-inspired printables and activities to celebrate the Chinese New Year (Lunar New Year):

Wonderful ideas! I think I need a Montessori teacher to set up some shelves for *me* – I’d like to do some of that calligraphy, and perhaps relax with a Chinese New Year sensory bin ;)

    Thanks, Deb!

Great list! I am not sure I know enough about Montessori to link up. But I’d like to share two free books that are China related I found a while age. Here is the link: http://igamemom.com/2013/01/29/free-apps-multilingual-books/ It could be a good cultual experience for the kids to learn some popular stories in China.
