I am not a blogger, nor do I Facebook, Twitter or otherwise. I am however, fascinated with the potential these little people possess!The way Dr. Montessori was able to interpret their innate desire to learn and design environments suited to their true needs really blows me away. This method builds whole human beings from the ground up and I so get her and the people who are called to this vocation. Mine began with the birth of my own child and as I continue to follow her, I am finding my own place amongst a crew of high-minded people in a small Montessori school. Although my heart is in Primary, (where I have spent some time subbing and observing over the past two years), I am currently working in the school’s Toddler program as an assistant. I would love to train but lack the resources and a bit hesitant about leaving my daughter behind to attend courses on site. This would be ideal.
