Karen Tyler of KHT Montessori is AMS (American Montessori Society) certified and taught an online Montessori teacher training course for people who were unable to take formal Montessori training and Montessori teachers wanting to refresh their Montessori training. Karen has helped so many people through her KHT Montessori course! She retired in 2022. The freebies she generously gave to my readers are still available through my blog posts.

With a 2,5 year old at home and baby brother on the way the online course would be a great chance to keep learning – I love to learn new things about Montessori education and my daughter loves exploring the world. I would really like to help her do that – animals are her favorite theme, so zoology album could be the first gem for us!

I would really love to win this giveaway as I am new to Montessori and homeschooling. I have a 3.5 year old and one that just turned five. It’s a little overwhelmingly so far especially with two. I feel like this would be a great opportunity for me to learn and grow and that my boys and our family would greatly benefit. This is something that is a little beyond our means right now so winning would be a great blessing. The subject I would be most interested in would be zoology because I feel that my boys would be very captivated and get a lot out of it as they love animals.

I would love to use the Montessori training with my two grandsons and any further grandsons or grand daughters I have in the future. I love Montessori philosophy and methods. I also have home schooled my five sons and daughters and wish to pass on this method to my children for using with their children.
My husband and I always knew we wanted to homeschool but it wasn’t until a few months ago that I found and researched the Montessori method. Multiple books and hours of research later I was in love and completely overwhelmed! If money grew on trees I would have all three of my children in our local Montessori school despite my desire to homeschool them! I am so grateful to Deb and this site because it really gave me confidence to think I could fully incorporate this method into my home. I say home because as I started to slowly feed my kids some Montessori activities and incorporate the methodology I found out real quickly it’s not something to put on the shelf when school hours are done! I was totally ill equipped as realized when I presented an activity to my son (4.5 years old) and after I was done he promptly started doing something totally different and I stood there debating with myself how I should handle the situation! I could definitely use the wisdom and guidance of this course because I understand a lot of what makes Montessori great isn’t the activities it’s the mindset, preparation and patient, quiet attention of the teacher and man could I use all the help I can get with that! I know I can’t replicate a true Montessori classroom for my children but I can do my best to provide the atmosphere and guidance that I have had the fortune of witnessing when I visited our local Montessori school! We, my 4.5 year old, my 2.5 year old and my 1 year old will be starting our Montessori journey this September!

I would love to win this for so many reasons but mostly for my 2 children. It’s been over 6 months that I have been studying the Montessori method of teaching and its philosophy. At times it has been overwhelming and sometimes I feel like giving up. This giveaway would give me so much more understanding, support and structure. Myself and my children would benefit greatly.
I think I’m most excited about the Language Album . My oldest had some speech development issues as he has had minor hearing loss in one of his ears, as a result , the doctors told me he would struggle with reading and language etc. by using the Montessori Language with him in Kindergarden at a private Montessori school – he can not only read, his speech became clearer and his writing is strong. I know Montessori’s approach is a big reason why he didn’t fall behind – I want to learn how to do this for my next boy as well as continue to build on the strong foundation of my oldest.
Wow! This is an amazing giveaway! I have been wanting to do the KHT training for almost a year now, as I am homeschooling 3 out of 4 children (ages 7, 5, 3, & 1) even with all the great resources available online –
I feel like I need a little bit of extra help getting organized and really knowing how to create the culture and environment of Montessori – I see and love all the little “parts” of Montessori that I am discovering – but I know what I need is to see the “whole” of how Montessori works .
My husband left his corporate job in May to start the journey of becoming a pastor – he always wanted to help people but didn’t feel like he could practical do it -but we felt it was time to take the plunge – and that’s the only reason I haven’t bought the program as we are on a tight budget for the year until my husband finishes school and starts working – ANYWAYS – Theres a million reasons why I want to do the course – it looks amazing!!!
