Karen Tyler of KHT Montessori is AMS (American Montessori Society) certified and taught an online Montessori teacher training course for people who were unable to take formal Montessori training and Montessori teachers wanting to refresh their Montessori training. Karen has helped so many people through her KHT Montessori course! She retired in 2022. The freebies she generously gave to my readers are still available through my blog posts.

I would love to win because Montessori training will give me the complete overview and allow me to use materials correctly. There is so much conflicting information on the internet and I would like to understand the materials so that I can introduce them properly. I live in the Netherlands and courses here are geared towards the Dutch curriculum, which is textbook based. The Montessori courses are basically ways to use Montessori materials to supplement the textbooks- it’s horrid! I would like to have a true understanding of Montessori processes so that I can flip this around. Follow the child and allow them to meet the curriculum goals using concrete materials instead of boring workbooks! In addition I have a 2,5 year old at home who is already starting to read and I am worried that she will need extension as children here don’t start learning how to read until they are 6 (even though they start school at 4). It would be fantastic to have some learning activities at home, which are different from what she has at school to keep her mind busy.
I love Montessori! I’m interested in learning the foundation of Montessori Primary curriculum. It would help me piece part of the puzzle with the Lower and Upper Elementary training I have taken.
