You don’t even need to be a techie to appreciate Montessori Compass. The interface is amazingly easy to use, and everything is autosaved so you can’t accidentally delete something important. Information is easy to edit with a minimum number of clicks needed to use everything. There are great templates with the site, although you can customize as well.
Montessori Compass isn’t just wonderful for teachers and schools … it’s also wonderful for Montessori parents! Montessori Compass helps you understand Montessori education through a directory of Montessori works and gives you a way to know what your child is doing at school. As a Montessori teacher years ago I had the idea to do what Montessori Compass actually completed. A virtual “high 5” to someone who actually followed through with the idea!
