Over the years, Carolyn from The Montessori Learning Center of Dundee in Omaha, Nebraska, has been one of our Montessori Monday participants.
Ideas from Dundee Montessori
I’ve often been inspired by Carolyn’s beautiful art projects and amazing materials for unit studies. In addition to her Montessori certification, Carolyn has a BFA in Art Education. With her unique background, you’ll find many creative art projects and activities. Carolyn also specializes in the science units she’s developed in her 30 years of teaching. Look at Dundee Montessori for ideas of inexpensive materials that work well for home or classroom, too.
In addition to a blog and website, Dundee Montessori has a YouTube channel with lots of inspiration and ideas for Montessori parents, Montessori homeschoolers, and Montessori teachers. There’s nothing like seeing Montessori in action, and Dundee Montessori has lots of creative inspiration for preschool through first grade.
Here are two of the videos that show some creative ideas you can use in many different environments.

It’s definitely interesting to see some of the ways that these schools are different from other schools. I think it’s extremely important to find the best option to help your child whenever you possibly can. I know that I would want to look closely into all of the education options I have before deciding where to send my kid. I’m glad I still have three or four years to figure that out for sure.
