I’m honored and thrilled to be a shortlisted nominee for the 2011 Edublog Awards as Best Individual Tweeter (@DebChitwood)! Thank you so much to Teach Preschool, The Preschool Toolbox, and The SEEDS Network who originally nominated me!
It’s difficult for me to campaign for votes for myself, but I am comfortable asking for votes to bring attention to Montessori, early childhood education, and homeschooling. You don’t even need to be an advocate of all three – just of the freedom of choice in education, of the freedom for families to be able to give their children the best possible education, whether it’s at home or school.
I truly believe in the Montessori principle of following the child, and I believe that can be done in many environments. I LOVE Twitter as a social media format, with my most common tweets and retweets about Montessori, early childhood education, and homeschooling (at all levels).
Please help me bring attention to those areas of education by voting for me daily through Tuesday, December 13. Even if you don’t like Twitter, I’d appreciate your vote if you like what I offer here at my blog! 🙂
You may vote once in each Edublog Award category per day. There are lots of wonderful educators and educational blogs shortlisted in 18 categories. Please help support educators who are sincerely working to help the children of the world! I truly appreciate it!
