25+ Snow-Themed Sensory Tubs

February 5, 2013 By Deb Chitwood

I LOVE sensory tubs … they’re relaxing for adults as well as for children! But they’re also wonderful for giving young children a rich sensory experience and can easily be adapted for any theme.

25+ Snow-Themed Sensory Tubs

Today, I want to share ideas for snow-themed sensory tubs that can be used at any time during the winter. (I have a separate post with 40+ Christmas sensory tubs and a number of Valentine’s Day sensory tubs in my Montessori-Inspired Valentine’s Day Activities post and Pinterest board. You’ll also find a post with Montessori-Inspired Winter Playdough {and Snow Dough} Activities.)

Love all of the snowy activities in this post! Where we live it gets very cold in the winter but it is rare that we get any actual snow. Sharing this on Pinterest. Thank you for linking up this week to the Hearts for Home Blog Hop!

I just found this, Jill. It’s too bad that you have to get the cold without the snow (of course, not bad when it comes to shoveling and plowing snow). At least with all the ideas online now for creating fake snow, kids can still have lots of snow-related fun in the winter. Have a great week! 🙂

Oh these are great! I love the variety of fun you can have with a snow theme. We have had a bit of sickness for the last two weeks and my daughters have wanted to go out and play in our snow so this will be awesome activities for them to cheer them up.

      February 11, 2013 at 9:31 pm

Thanks, Veronica! I love the idea of bringing the snow inside for a child who’s too sick to play outdoors. I hope everyone feels well soon at your house. 🙂
