You don’t even need to be a techie to appreciate Montessori Compass. The interface is amazingly easy to use, and everything is autosaved so you can’t accidentally delete something important. Information is easy to edit with a minimum number of clicks needed to use everything. There are great templates with the site, although you can customize as well.
Montessori Compass isn’t just wonderful for teachers and schools … it’s also wonderful for Montessori parents! Montessori Compass helps you understand Montessori education through a directory of Montessori works and gives you a way to know what your child is doing at school. I like that the online attendance option already has all students marked as present making it easier to customize only the absentees .
I like how easy it is to keep exact records of the children.

I would love to win an iPad for educational purposes for my three boys.
We have had problems with our younger son for a few years now where school is concerned. He has been diagnosed with anxiety and adjustment disorders. Being on homebound has really left him behind. We are going to have to do something else. I think this would really help while trying to teach him at home.
A would love to win an IPAD so that I could give my laptop to her for her own to do homework on and keep in touch with family not living near us….I would keep the IPAD as it is what I really did want at xmas! 🙂
