Montessori Compass is designed to help Montessori teachers and schools keep records and communicate with parents easily and efficiently. It’s available for schools with infants-grade 12.

You don’t even need to be a techie to appreciate Montessori Compass. The interface is amazingly easy to use, and everything is autosaved so you can’t accidentally delete something important. Information is easy to edit with a minimum number of clicks needed to use everything. There are great templates with the site, although you can customize as well.
Montessori Compass isn’t just wonderful for teachers and schools … it’s also wonderful for Montessori parents! Montessori Compass helps you understand Montessori education through a directory of Montessori works and gives you a way to know what your child is doing at school. I like that Parents who have ever tried to organize a birthday party or play date for their child will appreciate the convenience of having an easy way to connect with other parents. The IPad2 would help us in all of our endeavors, especially in technological apps for enabling our children to learn. I have been blown away by the educational apps out there, and am eager to start letting my oldest daughter use them if I can!
As a grad student, I am regularly using e-books and various apps that help with my classes. An ipad 2 would help, greatly, with being able to use more accessible apps on the go, ones that I find useful on my ipod and imac.
i would love the IPAD to teach my special needs children. there are wonderful apps for early intervention!
