I will love to win these for my little princess…We are in love with Montessori method and could use these on our learning process!!!
I would like to win this for my daughter’s 3 little ones whom she home-schools. We live in the country so this would really fill in all the gaps for them since it’s hard to pick up school books and supplies for them. We are far away from any outlets or stores to shop.
For today’s entry, I would love to print the math section. My father suffered a stroke awhile back and is unable to speak. However he is very alert to his surroundings and responds by hand gestures and nods. My daughter loves to share her homeschool activiies with him when we visit (at least once a week). I think even though the mats are designed for children, he would respond to them as well. My daughter could help me help him keep active by sharing what she learns from the materials with him. (Of course primary use will be for my daughter but seems like there would be loads of other uses as well).
Have you looked into a communication device for your father. There are many but the latest is the ipad. There are apps that would “speak” the words for him when he touches the pictures or words on the screen.I work with pediatrics but am amazed that devices are not used more with adults.
Oh, that sounds cool. I’m embarrassed to say that I didn’t know about that. I did think it would be so nice if there was an app that would do that. Yes, I too am amazed that devices are not used more with adults. (Maybe the med profs that work with my dad were not aware?) I think the ipad has so much possibility to improve quality of life for many people. I’ll have to check that out. Thanks so much! (Oh, but I still would like to win, heehee.) 🙂

i forgot to add that , i am from iowa and would love the Montessori print studio for my son who is 7 and has tourettes, asperger syndrome and sensory processing disorder. he would get alot out of this . we have been homeschooling for over 10 years and do alot of the montessori with him

Greetings! My son is a 2nd grader in a public Montessori K-8 program in the USA and we continue exploring at home. This CD would be great and a time-saver too! To be able to quickly find and print whatever his interest is at that moment. Right now, I try to anticipate him, collecting lots of ideas ‘just in case’, and then it doesn’t interest him and I’ve ‘wasted’ that research time.
Just last week a 4th grade friend of his was having trouble with fractions. It would have been great to print out materials immediately.
