I have a daughter with special learning needs and recently came across the Montessori method of education. I am so thrilled that I finally found the style of learning that fits her! Now I just need some training to be able to teach her and her two younger sisters at home. I came across KHT Montessori on your blog and just know it is what I need to be able to successfully educate my girls for their younger years (and hopefully their older years!).

I taught traditional school for 16 years, and then I felt called to homeschool my children. Ever since being trained in Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, I have felt called to train in Montessori methods and eventually open a Montessori school. This opportunity would be a great blessing and affirmation of the direction I am being led.
I’m a traditionally trained teacher but grew up Montessori. I’m currently teaching Montessori 3-6 and homeschooling my daughter in the Montessori method. I’d love to be able to deepen my understanding of Montessori and show my employer that I am serious about my teaching.

Thanks for the opportunity to win this awesome prize. I’ve been wanting to do this course since I first discovered Montessori. I’m home-schooling my 3 year old as we have no preschools where we live in the Swiss Alps. I did consider taking him to our closest Preschool which luckily is a Montessori one, but I decided that the 2 hour train journey and 1000m height difference would outweigh the benefits so now I’m home-schooling him myself.
