Living abroad, I’ve just jumped into the world of homeschooling with my two little girls 3 & 5. There aren’t many schooling options out in Thailand where we are unless we want to go with the uber expensive private expat schools who often sacrifice deep learning and understanding for test results-driven curriculums. Much of what I’ve read about Montessori has inspired me and I would love to add this to my teaching toolkit. And who knows, maybe I have a future opening a Montessori school out here!

Hi. I am homeschool pre-K this year and think this course would be a big help. I am a certified teacher staying home now and I think I would like to go back to work as a Montessori teacher when I am ready. This course could be a great first step.
My 6 year old is struggling with the traditional school environment and I don’t want to turn reading and writing into a chore. My sister’s children attend a Montessori school and she highly recommends it, however, as a stay at home mom, it’s not something I can afford! I would love to use my time with my daughter to help her learn these skills without it seeming like work. This contest couldn’t have come at a better time!

I am currently trying my hand at Tot School with my 2 year old son. It is very overwhelming and daunting! There is so much to learn about life and about the world around us. I always feel like I don’t even know where to begin and I always fear that I am leaving something important out. I try to learn what I can from other Montessori mothers who blog about their lessons but there is only so much you can learn in that fashion. Being able to learn from a course would be an amazing, priceless experience that would do wonders for my entire family.
As a parent of four Montessori students who go part-time to school and are homeschooled the other half, I would love to more fully incorporate the Montessori method in my homeschool classroom. I would use this amazing contest prize to improve my homeschooling for my five children and improve my abilities as a potential classroom teacher/ directress in the future.

I have recently learned about Montessori and the possibility of opening a Montessori program for three to six-year-olds in my community. There is a need for a teacher, and I am very interested in the position. I have a teaching degree for secondary History, but found out through substitute teaching that I enjoy teaching early childhood ages. After discovering the benefits of Montessori, I would love to learn more. I have been amazed at the beautiful and peaceful Montessori classroom settings for children to blossom. They learn at their own pace and through self discovery. It seems like an answer to classroom management issues, and I would love to learn more.
