It’s the 15th of the month, and I’m excited to be sharing links to three free printables that work well for creating Montessori-inspired activity trays for winter.
At PreK + K Sharing, I tell how I used the printables to create Montessori-inspired activities that can be used for preschoolers at different ages and ability levels. I have a number of photos and ideas for creating and presenting a Montessori-inspired snowman letter activity and extensions.
Here’s the link to my article at PreK + K Sharing: Montessori-Inspired Snowman Letter Activities. Be sure to check out some of the other posts while you’re there, too! If you haven’t seen my post from December, check out Montessori-Inspired Snowman Color Activities! ![]()

Deb, I love this….I used to have some ‘brain freeze’…..and need to find it again…I wonder how well that would work with this. we do have some sand that is green and black (two textures, two colors) and it is on a blue tray that has a texture…everyone enjoys writing in it…but, I like the idea of the white…for the snow. Hmm…now to print up those cute snow men! Thank you!

Thanks, Rebecca! Sand trays are great for lots of writing activities (and the colored sand sounds cool), but I do the salt tray in the winter. Have fun!
