I’ve been looking for a free, instant download of 1-inch square Montessori letters to use for a DIY movable alphabet as well as letters for letter-tile activities and Spielgaben wooden cubes. To get exactly what I wanted, my daughter, Christina, and I created a free printable Montessori movable alphabet for you. In the morning, you’ll see an idea for using it in my post with Montessori-inspired dinosaur language activities.

I recommend printing your movable alphabet on cardstock and then laminating. Here’s the new version of the laminator I use (and love).

Montessori-Inspired Printables at Living Montessori Now
My daughter, Christina (a former Montessori child), and I are partnering to bring you a series of Montessori-inspired printables. The printables are typically themed and use a number of Montessori principles (although you don’t need to be a Montessori teacher or homeschooler to use them).
This Montessori movable alphabet printable uses three popular Montessori fonts as well as red for consonants and blue for vowels.
