Montessori at Home Book/Montessori Print Shop Bundle Giveaway

October 18, 2011 By Deb Chitwood

The giveaway is now closed. See update after the Rafflecopter form for the announcement of the 3 winners!

Montessori Print Shop is offering  $60.49 worth of Montessori materials for $19.95 to everyone who purchases the Montessori at Home! Materials Bundle (a steal)!

I’ve just emerged from being absorbed in John Bowman’s newly revised e-book Montessori at Home: The Complete Guide to Doing Montessori Early Learning Activities at Home.

Montessori at Home e-book

This is a book you can totally lose track of time with. Even if you’re an experienced Montessorian, there are so many links to videos, articles, and other online resources that you can spend hours discovering new resources and revisiting sites that have become like old friends.

And those are just the links! Here are some of the things you can find in Montessori at Home:

      • 296 pages filled with helpful Montessori content
      • Introduction to Montessori education
      • Ideas on how to get started using Montessori activities at home right away (with your child’s help – a feature I appreciate)
100 Bead Chain with Pointers from Printable in Book (Photo from Montessori at Home)

      • Information about the materials you’ll need and where you can find them (with an amazing number of links throughout the book)
      • Directions for making materials that can be made easily at home
      • Over 250 early-learning activities with lots and lots of photos and links to helpful articles online
      • Printable materials (pages 254-296)

It’s easiest to see what the e-book is really about by seeing some of the content for yourself:

      • If you want more information about the book, I have 3 excerpts from the new edition of Montessori at Home in these two posts: Activities with Marbles and Golf Tees and Building a Flashlight and Pipe Building.
      • Here’s a link to many sample pages. (Note: While you’re there, check out all the information at the new Montessori at Home site and blog!)

John Bowman also has a condensed version of the e-book available in paperback. It’s titled Help Your Preschooler Build a Better Brain: Early Learning Activities for 2-6 Year Old Children. But whether or not you want the paperback version, too, I can’t see a reason why a person with a young child or grandchild wouldn’t want to own the newly revised e-book!

Disclosure: I was given a copy of John Bowman’s book but was not required to write a positive review. My opinions are my own.

Montessori Print Shop Materials Bundle

As awesome as John Bowman’s e-book is, that’s not all this giveaway is about! Jennifer at Montessori Print Shop put together a bundle of 21 printable materials to complement the activities in John Bowman’s Montessori at Home e-book!

Montessori Print Shop is one of my absolute favorite Montessori material suppliers! You can read more about MPS in my Montessori Print Shop sponsor spotlight.

My son is in a Montessori kindergarten and thriving. Montessori is new for us though and I’d love as many items at home as possible to help him learn like he’s learning at school!

Yay!! My 4th grader is starting out in a Montessori school and it’s AMAZING to finally have a school that “clicks” with him. So naturally, with a 5yo homeschooled kindergartener and a 4yo at home, I’m looking to incorporate some Montessori methods in our home play!

This looks like a fantastic giveaway! My son went to a preschool that used Montessori-like methods. Not that we’re homeschooling, I would love to incorporate more of those types of things in our school day – especially since I also have a 2.5-year-old.

    Thanks for the great opportunity!

Montessori lessons inspire a new way of introducing new ideals for special needs children and this give away would be a welcomed arsenal to our homeschool program. This is an awsome give away 🙂
