I LOVE St. Patrick’s Day! My family always had lots of homeschool St. Patrick’s Day fun, and St. Patrick’s Day is a fun holiday to celebrate in a school, too. It’s hard not to have fun with shamrocks, rainbows, leprechauns, Ireland, St. Patrick’s Day history, and green activities!
I had a post with Montessori-inspired St. Patrick’s Day activities last year. Today, I want to start adding some new St. Patrick’s Day activities that were published since my post last year. I’ll be adding to it throughout the month as well.

Hi Deb,
Thanks so mcuh for featuring my picture and posts! I would have left a comment earlier, but I have been having trouble accessing your page for some reason. 🙁 Something keeps happening and my browser closes on me when I’m on your site… Do you know if anyone else might be having this problem? Thankfully, I was able to try again without a problem, but it had been happening for several days.
Thanks gain for your thoughtful post – St. Patrick’s Day is so much fun!
Sasha
Thanks, Sasha! It’s definitely my pleasure to feature your photo and posts … the beaded rainbow is such a fun and appealing activity and I love how you prepared the activity! 🙂
I really appreciate your letting me know about the trouble accessing my page. I’m able to access it, but my husband had problems. I think it might be a WordPress plugin that’s acting strange. I’m not sure how to fix it, so I have a virtual assistant looking into it. Hopefully, she’ll be able to figure out a solution short of deleting the plugin.
I love these ideas for little ones. Not only do they learn about holidays, but colors and crafting too. I wonder which one the children will like more? Painting or the Sensory Bin? Donna from Believe in Yourself theblogfrog.com/1506737
Thanks, Donna! It is fascinating to see which activities specific children are drawn to. Both of those would definitely be popular with most children! 🙂
Lots of great activities from all over the Blogosphere!
Thanks, Kylie! I’m amazed at how many more Montessori-inspired St. Patrick’s Day activities there are online this year compared to last year … FUN! 🙂
Thank you so much for featuring our sensory bin, Deb! You’re awesome!!

Thanks, Crystal! I really appreciate your pinning my post! 🙂
So many fantastic ideas. I love your shamrock treasure hunt in particular. My kids are always keen for a treasure hunt.
Thanks, Ali! Kelly from Little Wonders’ Days always has awesome holiday activities like the treasure hunt! My kids loved treasure hunts for holidays, too … treasure hunts were always an important part of their birthday celebrations. 🙂
We get pretty into celebrating St. Patrick’s Day here with the traditional foods. But, you’ve rounded it out here with some activities to accompany our baking and eating! -heather
Thanks for your comment, Heather! It’s awesome that you’re introducing different foods to your kids to celebrate the holiday … and baking is always fun! 🙂
Awesome round-up! We’re going to start on our St. Patricks Day activities this week, so this is very inspiring for me! 🙂
Thanks for your kind comment, Mandi! Have fun! 🙂
Love the gold coins into the bottle activity! I have seen similar activities before but not with the St. Patrick’s Day twist. I have lots of those little coins leftover from our leprechaun gold busy bag so I’m going to whip one of those up for my little one. Thanks for the idea!
I meant thanks for *sharing* the idea. 🙂 I’m heading over to comment on the original author’s post right now!
That’s awesome … thanks! 🙂
Thanks for your comment, Emily! That sounds great! 🙂
