These are amazing tools!! I have been trying to use Montessori methods with raising my two boys. Love the Montessori Print Shop Materials!

The material from MPS is great to use for our homeschooling, and would save me lots of work to do it myself.

We have been dabbling in Montessori principles when helping my two year old learn. I’d love to dive in. She is really a genius, (not like aww my daughter is so smart) but tests at 5-6 yrs old at 2.5 yrs old. I’d love to continue to stimulate her intelligence!

I don’t like to use my facebook account for anything but facebook (privacy/security issues). Usually rafflecoptor lets me enter giveaways using my email address, but it isn’t letting me this time. Is that a setting you did? Or is it a change to rafflecoptor’s policies?

    • Deb says

      April 4, 2013 at 8:44 am

Hi Silver, I’m not sure why Rafflecopter won’t let you use your email address. I haven’t changed any settings. If you do use your Facebook account, I’m the only one who sees the email you used to sign up (to notify you if you win). If you win, Rafflecopter only shows your first name and last initial (no email address or anything else). So no one would know who you are. I hope that helps. Good luck!

Hello from Malaysia! I am a stay home mom and would LOVE to try win this lucky giveaway!

    • Waileng Tan says

      April 4, 2013 at 8:28 am

I love the free I spy pages from Montessori Print Shop the most as I can teach my 2 year old words of the object image and then later ask her again. It’s a real joy watching her learn new words

      • Waileng Tan says

        April 4, 2013 at 10:55 am

Another item I like from Montessori Print Shop are the nomenclature cards. Since my daughter is only 2 years old and her vocabulary is very limited, I use it as a flash card to introduce new objects to her!

      • Waileng Tan says

        April 5, 2013 at 10:11 am

To be honest, I only stalk the free download pages of Montessori Print Shop because almost everything is quiet expensive because of the exchange rate (1USD = 3MYR)

      • Waileng Tan says

        April 6, 2013 at 10:35 am

The geography pin maps of the Montessori Print Shop is another fun idea which I took and modify to suit my location here in Malaysia. I focus on states names in my country instead of countries around the region. Perhaps I would do that when my child grows older

      • Waileng Tan says

        April 7, 2013 at 10:19 am

I use the short poems from the free downloads section of Montessori Print Shop and laminate them. Then I ask my daughter to pick out a card and I will read to her. Occasionally she would blurb out a random word or sentence.

      • Waileng Tan says

        April 8, 2013 at 10:20 am

This month the Montessori Print Shop have a free weather tracking cards, I make two copies and use it as a match-up game with my daughter. I really LOVE how these printable materials are flexible for various activities!

      • Waileng Tan says

        April 9, 2013 at 10:13 am

Everything in the Montessori Print Shop is in English language. While it is a good material for my daughter to learn new English words, I also add Mandarin Chinese and Malay on my own accord. It’s essential for my daughter to know more than one language because we live in a multicultural country.

      • Waileng Tan says

        April 10, 2013 at 10:22 am

I used the frog nomenclature free print out from Montessori Print Shop and sing a local frog song to my daughter. I love how adaptable Montessori materials are when it comes to teaching toddlers new words!

      • Waileng Tan says

        April 11, 2013 at 10:17 am

Ohh… I forgot mention the most important thing I learned from Montessori Print Shop – How to Give a 3 Period Lesson. This is the post that kick started everything for me to teach my daughter new things.

      • Waileng Tan says

        April 12, 2013 at 10:24 am

The matching game (free bird and frog) from Montessori Print Shop is my daughter’s favorite game for the moment. She just loves pairing identical objects!

      • Waileng Tan says

        April 13, 2013 at 11:13 am

I’m not sure if this is considered part of a Montessori activity, but I printed the graph paper from the free download section of Montessori Print Shop and have my 2 year old daughter stamp (with a rubber stamp) within the box. It’s not much of an activity, but I think it helps her with her hand and eye coordination.

      • Waileng Tan says

        April 14, 2013 at 10:21 am

I am a full time stay home mom and my daughter is only 2 years old, the only Montessori materials that I use for my daughter are mainly the “I spy” and the nomenclature because at this age I think the its good to expose them to as many new words as possible.

      • Waileng Tan says

        April 15, 2013 at 10:27 am

The Christmas Puzzle from the free printable section of the Montessori Print Shop has given me the idea to also make my own version for local festivals like the Chinese Lunar New Year!

    • Waileng Tan says

      April 4, 2013 at 9:10 am

I forgot to mention why I want to win : I really want to win this set because I can see how Montessori method helped me teach my daughter learn and explore the world around her.
