Montessori Monday – Montessori-Inspired Easter Activities

Montessori-Inspired Easter Activities

Easter will be here in a few weeks! It’s a perfect time to prepare some Montessori-inspired spring/Easter activities!

Last year I published a post with lots of Montessori-inspired spring activities (and printables). There were a number of Easter activities included.

I also published Montessori-Inspired Easter Activities. Today, I want to share Montessori-inspired Easter activities published since that post. I’ll be adding to this post through Easter since many of this year’s Easter activities haven’t been published yet.

Most of the activities focus on Easter eggs, bunnies, and chicks and are appropriate if you have a Christian or secular Easter celebration. If you’d like activities for Lent, please see my Montessori-based Lenten activities and my Lent Pinterest board.

Thanks Deb! That sensory bin was such a hit with my kids, and it was filled with all of the “junky toys” that the grandparents send up for Easter ;-) We made it into something fun, and the kids loved the bin!

I thought I would put up an easter printable on the pinterest board, but did not succeed. The board is perhaps not open for everyone?

I love the little bunnies in the first picture! That color sort could work well with the book Happy Easter by Kurt Wiese too– except you would need little chicks. I’m actually planning a different sort of matching game with that. I’ll have to link it up to Montessori Monday when I get it done! Thanks for all of the fun Easter ideas.

Thanks so much for making your 3-part cards available! I checked the download, and it said you need permission to access the item, though. I haven’t uploaded anything through Google Docs, so I’m not sure what needs to be changed. Wishing you the best in getting Google Docs figured out.

fixed! This was my first upload so it didn’t occur to me to change the access setting from default private to public, shouldn’t be a problem now, thanks for letting me know!

Thanks for the inspiration on the Egg Sound Set. This was so quick and easy to do. And my 4 year old daughter loved the entire process. Here’s what we ended up with: http://familysponge.com/artdiy/re-use-plastic-eggs-musical-sound-shakers/
