Montessori-Inspired Eric Carle Activities and Eric Carle Linky

Montessori-Inspired Eric Carle Activities RoundupYesterday, June 25, was the birthday of beloved children’s book author and illustrator Eric Carle. Many are celebrating Happy Birthday Eric Carle throughout the week. I always loved sharing Eric Carle’s books with young children, and today I’m happy to share Montessori-inspired Eric Carle activities I found online.

Many Eric Carle activities I find online have touches of Montessori inspiration, but I’ll just share a few activities here that use a number of Montessori principles. Of course, most Eric Carle activities can be adapted for use in a Montessori-inspired unit.

Hungry Caterpillar is the first book I can ever recalled reading/having read to me as a child! Isn’t it incredible that it has not only lasted the test of time but continues to be a staple within a child’s learning process even to this very day!
