Montessori-Inspired Arbor Day Activities

April is a great time to focus on Arbor Day along with Earth Day. National Arbor Day is the last Friday in April, although many states observe Arbor Day on different dates according to their state’s best tree-planting time. You can find a map of Arbor Day dates across America (and around the world) from the Arbor Day Foundation.

Montessori-Inspired Arbor Day Activities

Spring is perfect for botany studies in general, and a tree unit study would fit in perfectly with both Earth Day and Arbor Day.

I skimmed this post when you first put it up but only today finally got to truly read it… Thank you for linking to Montessori Trails (botany in our co-op) – I have several more botany posts up with a few more going up this week as well. Lots of herbs happening these days 🙂
