Montessori Services Reviews

February 12, 2013 By Deb Chitwood

Here are links to the Montessori Services materials I’ve reviewed (updated in 2017).

Montessori Services Reviews

Disclosure: I was never required to write a positive review for Montessori Services, and any opinions expressed are my own. This post contains Montessori Services affiliate links (at no cost to you).

From the time I was a Montessori teacher in the 1970s and owned a Montessori preschool in the 1980s, Montessori Services was always one of my favorite Montessori suppliers. Almost all my school’s rugs and trays were from Montessori Services along with a number of practical life activities and card materials. I was never disappointed with Montessori Services as a school owner or Montessori homeschooler. Almost all the materials were in close-to-new condition after years of loving care by young children.

Since I’ve started blogging, I’ve hosted three Montessori Services reviews and giveaways. Like before, I’ve never been disappointed with the quality of Montessori Services materials. Be sure to check out each of my review posts to find out more about some of the Montessori Services materials that are wonderful for schools and homeschools. Parents using Montessori principles at home will also find much to offer through Montessori Services or its partner site, For Small Hands, which specializes in child-size tools and materials for families.

This is kinda a funny one, but I love the shoe shining set! My kids would love to shine their shoes with their daddy using their own supplies.

I am a mother of five, two bonus kids, two foster children and one 18 month old little girl. I work as a substitute teacher, evenings and weekends at another job, and I am working on getting my teaching degree to then work as a Montessori teacher. All of the kids Montessori materials are homemade, as that is the best I can do for them right now as my husband is disabled. I love the catalog and get most of my ideas from it, and would love to buy a few things for my girls. Thank you!

One of my favorite products from Montessori Services is their handheld finger labyrinth. I use this at my Peace Table and children love to go trace the labyrinth with their finger or the provided stylus. It really helps them regain focus and calm their bodies and minds.

I have taken over a classroom that was preciously lead by the same teacher for many years, and many of the Practical Life materials were her personal belongings. Therefore, I am in need of a lot of supplies. I have a very young group of Primary Children in my classroom this year, and not a lot of financial resources. I LOVE the materials from Montessori Services, and it would be a dream come true to outfit my Practical Life Area from your company!

From the Montessori Services page, I know I would like a Mixing Colors set, which our school currently doesn’t have, but which is very interesting to my daughter.

I love Montessori Services. My next dream purchase from Montessori Services is Children Can Build From Laughing Star Montessori, Woodshop for Kids by Jack McGee,a Hand Drill from Fiskars, and a Bench vise. Fifty dollars doesn’t cover this wish, but it would make it possible for me to purchase the other items.

I could use the supplies for my classroom.

Winning the $50 gift card from Montessori Services will allow me to purchase some needed work for my classroom. Montessori Services has products of good quality that will last many years and is more affordable for a teacher. Winning will allow me to purchase an item I have my eye on and simply can’t purchase at this time.
