It would be a great addition to our learning journey with my girl at home. 🙂 She is 2years old now and I am really excited about learning abour the world with her.

I have been following this account on Instagram for years and have used several recourses throughout my career in the classroom! Recently I have become a mother of two and decided to stay home to raise my children. My oldest turns two in July and I have been slowly setting up our homeschool space! Hi, my school began in 1986 and many of our materials are beginning to look really “tired” from all the years of use. A total revamp would be incredible but whereas the originals were mostly handmade after much research , it would be lovely to just be able to download, print and laminate.

I want to win because I live in India, and it’s very hard to get any of the ready made resources for Elementary Montessori here. Congratulations on celebrating you 15th blogiversary of Living Montessori Now! I began my career in early childhood education in 2012 working in a traditional preschool after a 22 year career as a flight attendant. I had been using materials from the Montessori Print Shop in my two-year-old classroom as I always appreciated the quality and real life photos they offered. It wasn’t until I was working towards my Associate Degree in ECE that I was introduced to the Montessori Method. Prior to that, I wasn’t familiar with it, but once I learned more about it, I couldn’t understand why it wasn’t in every school! In 2021 one of my little ones was moving to a Montessori school at the end of the school year. Her mom and I had become close and she mentioned they had a job opening as an aftercare/floater teacher. I thought about it and how much I wanted to teach the way Maria Montessori taught, so I applied and was offered the job In 2021. This past year was my first year as an assistant in one of the Primary classrooms and I have grown to love it so much I have going to begin the Montessori certification process this coming June!
