You don’t need to be a Montessori teacher or Montessori homeschooler to appreciate Safari Ltd. TOOBS, although the TOOBS are wonderful for creating Montessori-inspired activities. Safari TOOBS are perfect for parents of young children. They’re also great if you’re a homeschooler or teacher who wants to give your children and/or students hands-on learning activities which work well for multiple ages.
In case you aren’t familiar with Safari Ltd. products, they’re award-winning miniature collectibles in many themes (perfect for unit studies). The Safari Ltd. sculptors work closely with zoos and museums to create detailed, lifelike molds from which each small plastic model is made. I would love to have these as an addition to my classroom. I have purchased other sets from Safari Toobs and have used them in so many ways. They are so verstile and can be used in every area of the classroom.
Love all the Safari Toobs I’ve ever encountered but particularly the animals ones. Such great replicas. My son is particularly fond of the dinosaurs; my daughter, of the pets.

After visiting the Safari website, I am really liking the Life Cycle sets. So useful for science but also for sequencing and doing writing activities!
At home we love, love, love Toobs. I have been contemplating creating a DIY Montessori Grammar Farm and these Toobs would push me over the edge to just do it!! (Which I would love.) And, as a bonus, I teach resource in a non-Montessori elementary where I have been trying to use more Montessori language materials. As an inner city school, any manipulatives are hard to come by but are well used.
My 2 year old loves Farm Animals. We’ve got lots of full size animals, but not the Toob size. I’d love to get some for the diaper bag!
I am a brand new preschool teacher and I would love to have these for my kiddos! They’re super in to pretend play with all kinds of animals 🙂
